The Subaru Legacy VS The Toyota Camry

Performance | 2019 Subaru Legacy vs. 2019 Toyota Camry

When the roads are less than ideal Henderson, KY drivers will be glad they choose the Subaru Legacy with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive for unmatched stability, traction, and control. The Toyota Camry, however, is not available with all-wheel-drive. Both the Legacy and Camry have two engine options to choose from and while the Camry offers more horsepower, the BOXER engine delivers smoother and longer-lasting performance. The horizontally opposed pistons cancel out each other's vibrations. The Legacy is available with a 2.5L four-cylinder with 182 horsepower or a 2.4L turbo that generates 260 horsepower.

Safety | 2019 Subaru Legacy vs. 2019 Toyota Camry

Both the Subaru Legacy and Toyota Camry comes standard with advanced safety packages to keep Evansville, IN drivers safe. However, Toyota Safety Sense does not include all of the same features as EyeSight and the Camry doesn't offer nearly as many additional safety features as the Legacy. Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology includes Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, Pre-Collision Braking, and Pre-Collision Throttle Management. The Subaru Legacy is also available with Subaru STARLINK Safety & Security with Automatic Collision Notification and Stolen Vehicle Recovery, LED Steering Responsive Headlights, Reverse Automatic Braking, High Beam Assist, and Subaru DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System. Many of these features are not available on the Toyota Camry.
