Working in partnership with the City of Evansville, Wesselman Nature Society provides environmental education and outdoor recreation experiences designed to awaken the senses and enrich the lives of area residents and visitors. Whether you are seeking solace, enrichment or adventure, we've got a place for you!
Our mission is to Enhance the quality of life for individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis and their families throughout Southern Indiana, Western Kentucky, and Southern Illinois. For thousands of people in the tri-state area affected by Multiple Sclerosis…there is hope! That hope comes from a commitment to improve the lives of MS patients and their families. For the first time, those in our community touched by this devastating disease have local services and specialized health care here in the tri-state.
The Indiana and Kentucky Cycling Association promotes, supports, and develops the sport of competitive bike racing sanctioned by USA Cycling in the states of Indiana and Kentucky. The Association provides education and training opportunities to racers of all levels to assist in their growth and development of competitive racing skills. The River City Bicycle Classic takes cyclists through historic Garvin Park with beautiful, wide sweeping turns.

Caring Services is a homeless shelter and services agency that provides people
in need access to crisis stabilization services through six life-saving
programs: a day shelter for men, women, and children, emergency temporary
shelter for single men and women, additional "white/red flag" emergency shelter
during inclement weather, an innovative homeless medical respite for men and
women, and low income studio apartments. We strive to be a true Community of
Caring for all people. All of our programs aim to provide guests with the
necessary opportunity, dignity, compassion and tools to aid in their struggle
to identify and overcome the barriers that attribute to their crisis of
homelessness, near-homelessness, or hunger.
The Y is a powerful association of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility.
The mission of Jacob's Village is to develop a safe, walkable neighborhood community where people with disabilities and older adults can find meaningful relationships, housing that is affordable and accessible, and activities that encourage active minds and bodies. We envision a tri-state community where all people, regardless of age, race, or ability can enjoy a home of their own in a setting that fosters mutually supportive relationships among neighbors, access to services that enable independent living, and social and recreational opportunities that enhance quality of life.
Evansville Parks Foundation has a rich history of assisting the City of Evansville and Vanderburgh County Governments with the improvement of our municipal parks, golf courses, pools, open spaces and recreational facilities. Strong parks and recreational facilities promote positive societal changes and economic development. The Evansville Parks Foundation continues to stand on the forefront of the effort to provide quality parks and recreation facilities that can be enjoyed for many generations to come.
"The mission of Fields of Dreams Uganda, Inc. is to provide hope for the orphaned and vulnerable children of Uganda through the vehicles of soccer and education. Field of Dreams Uganda, Inc. envisions communities in Uganda where orphans and vulnerable children can reach their full potential as compassionate human beings. We are proud to be a sponsor of the Dress for Dreams 5k each year. All proceeds from this event will go towards Fields of Dreams Uganda's Girl Empowerment Project.
The focus of the Screaming Eagles Running Series is to increase the health and well-being of the Evansville community while also providing hands-on experience for students in the Sport Management program at the University of Southern Indiana.

Deaconess' understand that pediatric patients aren't simply smaller versions of adult patients. Children have unique needs - both physically and emotionally. Deaconess Riley Children's Services are designed to cater to these special needs. In an effort to provide the highest level of pediatric care in the Tri-State area, Deaconess Hospital and Riley Hospital for Children IU Health have formed an exclusive partnership to offer a Pediatric Unit and Intensive Care Unit, Children's Specialty Center, and Child Life Services. Together, they provide innovative medical technologies with top pediatric physicians to deliver the compassionate, patient and family centered care you have come to expect from Deaconess. We enjoyed taking part in the "Trim a Tree for Riley - A Very Beary Christmas". Unfortunatly, we did not win the contest but we are enthusted to be apart of this event.
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength & joy. Since 1983, Make-A-Wish has granted over 13,000 wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions in Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana. We are honored to be partners with our local Make-A-Wish at the Evansville Country Club Make-A-Wish Charity Fundraiser.
It Takes A Village Canine Rescue's mission is "To work as one in helping homeless dogs irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." We rescue animals no one else wants and who have no options left - animals that have been abused, abandoned or neglected. We are a non-profit, mostly volunteer, NO-KILL, privately run rescue in Evansville, Indiana. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for abandoned dogs and to find permanent loving homes for them. We rescue dogs from high-kill shelters throughout Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia and Alabama, including from Evansville Animal Control, Warrick Animal Control, Daviess County (KY) Animal Control and Gibson County Animal Control. While in our care, we provide dogs with quality food, shelter, medical attention, and the love they deserve.
The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) is a non-profit educational association. Our mission is to create, enhance and preserve great mountain biking experiences. Since 1988, IMBA has been bringing out the best in mountain biking by encouraging low-impact riding, volunteer trail work participation, and cooperation among different trail user groups, grassroots advocacy and innovative trail management solutions. IMBA's staff, chapters, clubs and members work to benefit the entire mountain bike community.
Rockin River City Ride is a two-day community event that offers a challenge for novice and experienced cyclists and runners alike along the beautiful Evansville riverfront. Funds raised through the Rockin River City Ride will be used to support the Junior League of Evansville, the Evansville Morning Rotary Club and their missions and charities.
Run at The Mounds Middle School Cross Country Invitational is an event put on by the Plaza Park Cross Country Boosters LTD. The money raised goes to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). These blood cancers are leading cause of death by disease for young people under the age of 20. At this time, there are 701 people in 16 southern Indiana Counties suffering with these diseases, including 120 patients in Vanderburgh County and another 51 in Warrick County.
